Kris Chatterson is a painter living and working in New York City. Prior to living in New York, he resided in Los Angeles where he is represented by Western Project in Culver City. While living in LA, Kris participated in a variety of group shows in southern California such as “(Keep Feeling) Fascination: Recent Abstract Painting in Los Angeles,” Luckman Gallery, California State University, Los Angeles. Curated by Julie Joice.
His debut solo show was in June 2006 with Western Project.
Most recently Kris has participated in Construction Zone at Western Project, Culver City, CA. Power to the People at Feature INC New York, NY. and Worlds Greatest at Daily Operations, Brooklyn, NY. curated by Jon Lutz.
Kris received a BFA from Ringling School of Art and Design in 2002 and a MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2004.
